Internet of Things in Medical Sciences and Healthcare

IoT is one of the key players in shaping modern tech-driven healthcare. Enabling a seamless sharing and communication between several medical devices and stakeholders,IoTstrives to redefine the healthcare systems and cater more efficient and personalized services topeople.

Despite embracing IoT, the area of medical sciences and healthcare also has to overcome several challenges like ensuring safety and security orto deal with the risks in replacing a medical personnel with an intelligent system.

The special session aims to provide a platform of comprehensive discussion on research and innovation related to IoT in the field of medical sciences and healthcare, along with several state of art practices followed in this field. This would also include the aspects of interdisciplinary research enabling IoT in healthcare.

All final submissions should be written in English with a maximum paper length of six (6) printed pages see web conference for instructions. Papers must be submitted through EDAS.

Important Dates

Paper submission deadline: March 7th, 2017

Acceptance Notification: March 31, 2017

Camera-Ready Paper Submission: April 30, 2017

Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore
