The Global IoT Summit (GIOTS) is an international conference established to attract and present cutting-edge research results on the Internet of Things. The conference welcomes researchers, engineers, scientists and industry professionals to share and examine the recent IoT research results. It is an ideal platform for keeping up with advances and changes in the IoT domain, where leading researchers and industry experts from around the globe presenting the latest studies through papers and oral presentations.

GIoTS 2017, Geneva

GIoTS 2018, Bilbao
More than 70 scientific articles were presented by authors from 24 countries. The Award for Best Paper was given to authors Fang-Jing Wu, Gurkan Solmaz and Erno Peter Kovacs, for their paper titled “Toward the Future World of Internet of Things".

GIoTS 2019, Arhus
The GIOTS 2019 was collocated with the IoT Week 2019 in Aarhus, Denmark from June 17th to 21st 2019. The conference offered a quite unique event, including Keynote Sessions, Cutting-edge Sessions and Presentations, Thematic Workshops, Special Sessions and Exhibition Area.

GIoTS 2020, Virtual event
The fourth edition of GIoTS was held on June 3rd, 2020. It was switched from physical to virtual conference, due to the escalation of the Covid 19 pandemic. The GIoTS 2020 welcomed papers on technological innovations, as well as on applications for the benefit of society, including sustainable development, smart industry, smart cities and mobility, health, smart agriculture, privacy and safety.

GIoTS 2022, Dublin
The 5th edition of the Global IoT Summit provided an opportunity to reflect on what has been happening in the IoT domain, share experiences and perspectives, as well as present new research findings. Over 40 papers were presented at GIoTS 2022.
