The Global IoT Summit (GIOTS) is an international conference established to attract and present cutting-edge research results on the Internet of Things.
The 4th Global IoT Summit held on June 3rd, 2020 as a virtual event. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the GIoTS 2020 conference was shifted from an event in-person to a virtual event.
The Global IoT Summit (GIoTS) is an international conference established to attract and present the latest research results in IoT. It intends to select the best papers through a systematic peer review process.
This edition welcomed papers on technological innovations (from Artificial Intelligence to 5G and nanotechnology), as well as on applications for the benefit of society, including sustainable development, smart industry, smart cities and mobility, health, smart agriculture, privacy and safety.
The conference kicked off with a live stream of two keynote speakers:
– Dr. Jorge Perreira, Principal Officer, European Commission
(Talk Title: Cross-Border Corridors: 5G for Connected and Automated Mobility)
– Jart Armin, CEO, CyberDefcon
(Talk Title – “Hunting the biggest and baddest IOT botnet – Dark_nexus”)
The GIoTS 2020 conference presented 48 papers, which were peer-reviewed and selected from a larger number of submissions. All selected papers were presented during the technical sessions and published by IEEE: https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/conhome/9116578/proceeding
