This will be the year where IoT solutions inspire not just “the Vikings” but also the rest of the world about how IoT is the gamechanger for business’, society and every individual that enables us to fulfil UN’s SDG’ faster and smarter. Aarhus wants to lead the way in thinking smarter and with recent investments on a new waterfront, connections to the suburbs and a renewed and cohesive urban policy, Denmark’s second largest city has been able to put itself off the map and all for the right reasons.

The city has grown substantially in size and importance and plays a central role in the development of the entire region. Today and in the years to come, major investments in urban development and infrastructure are being made. This includes the development of new knowledge hubs, innovation centers, investment in the city’s architecture and new technological solutions – in history’s next chapter the Vikings will conquer the world with IoT and challenge status quo by thinking smarter.
